Point Park Students Share University Experience With Their Parents at Family Weekend 2017

Point Park hosted Family Weekend Oct.6-8, 2017. Families enjoyed student exhibits and performances, opportunities to explore Pittsburgh and social events on campus. Photo | Samantha Exler

More than 140 Point Park University families explored campus, enjoyed student exhibits and performances, and ventured in-and-around Downtown Pittsburgh during Family Weekend 2017, held Oct. 6-8.

Highlights of Family Weekend included:

  • Welcome reception in Lawrence Hall lobby, java and live jazz in Village Park and a family brunch in Lawrence Hall dining room
  • Point Park athletic events: men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, and men's and women's cross country
